7 Jun GS - 2nd Gen () - Gs manual swap - So I'm looking into doing a 5 speed swap on my 2nd gen gs but I don't want to do the gte. About the same work and price as a 2jz manual conversion, that is doing a 2jz-gte swap with R into his GS/ chassis. Another unique issue with this transmission swap is the shifter housing. The OEM Lexus GS transmission crossmember can be used.
